Democratic Colleagues Re-Elect Ranking Member Scott to Lead the Education and the Workforce Committee in the 119th Congress

WASHINGTON – Ranking Member Robert C. “Bobby” Scott (VA-03) released the following statement after the House Democratic Caucus elected him to serve as the Ranking Member of the Committee on Education and the Workforce in the 119^th Congress.

“During my tenure in Congress, I have always fought to advance policies that protect workers' rights, ensure access to high-quality education, and expand health care for all Americans.  Next Congress, my fight will be the same. Whenever possible, I will work across the aisle, with Chair-elect Walberg, to find common ground, and advance sound, evidence-based policies. And I will stand up to the incoming-Administration if they attempt to roll back the progress we have made in the last four years.
